Crown Princess Victoria Swapped to a Meghan Markle-Loved Gown for The Jordan State Banquet

It's been a busy few weeks for royal watchers. In early May, royalty from around the world came together to honor the coronation of Britain's King Charles III, and now, less than a month later, many of the same luminaries are heading abroad again to celebrate the wedding of Jordan's Crown Prince Hussein and Rajwa Al Saif. One such royal is none other than Sweden's Crown Princess Victoria, who arrived for the wedding ceremony at Zahran Palace today looking regal as ever in a cream colored satin maxi dress in a demure floral pattern.

The style—the Alize floral-print satin maxi dress by By Malina—features oversized button cuff sleeves with feminine gathered details and a crewneck neckline. She complemented the look with a simple, embossed clutch purse in a blush tone and delicate drop earrings.
The look was a departure from the princess's recent trend of monochrome solid ensembles, as seen when she attended the coronation of King Charles. On that occasion, she opted for an all pink look on the night before the celebrations (dare we say, Barbiecore?) with a faux-wrap Roland Mouret dress and magenta pumps, and a brilliant, cobalt blue belted midi length dress with a narrow, pencil skirt and tea-length sleeves for the coronation itself, which she attended with her father, King Carl XVI Gustaf. Today the princess is giving the Jordan royals her best wishes, accompanied by her husband, Prince Daniel.
For the evening's state banquet, however, the princess returned to her love of pink with a hot pink Ginkgo cape gown by Safiyaa. The dress has something of a royal pedigree—Meghan Markle wore a blue version of the style during her 2018 royal tour of Fiji. Along with her Jordan sash of honors, Victoria finished off her look with the Boucheron Laurel Wreath Tiara.
