The Crown star Emma Corrin's new series confirms title as first look and premiere window announced

A Murder at the End of the World, the new series starring The Crown's Emma Corrin, has released its first look as well as its premiere window.
The FX series, which was previously known as Retreat, sees Corrin play the role of "Gen Z amateur sleuth" Darby Hart, who seeks to solve a murder on a remote island.
As reported by Deadline, the retitled limited series will premiere on Hulu in the US in August; a specific date and a UK broadcaster are currently not yet known.

Both images depict Corrin's amateur detective, who is joined by Bill (played by Harris Dickinson) in one photo.
The stacked cast also includes Clive Owen, series co-creator Brit Marling, Alice Braga and Jermaine Fowler.
The logline for the series, which will consist of seven episodes, reads: "Darby and eight other guests are invited by a reclusive billionaire (Owen) to participate in a retreat at a remote and dazzling location.
"When one of the other guests is found dead, Darby must use all of her skills to prove it was murder against a tide of competing interests and before the killer takes another life."
Corrin, who played Princess Diana in the fourth season of The Crown, revealed earlier this year that they suffered hallucinations when filming A Murder at the End of the World, putting the incident down to some painkillers.
"I was getting my wisdom teeth, so they put me on really strong U.S. painkillers," Corrin recalled. "I was so out of it that I thought I was being attacked by bees. They had to send me home because, every take, I was swatting bees away."
Corrin's recent roles include major parts in the films My Policeman and Lady Chatterley's Lover, in addition to starring in Orlando on the West End.
They have been cast as the villain in the upcoming Deadpool 3, which just had its late 2024 release date brought forward six months as part of a wider shuffling of the MCU movie schedule.
A Murder at the End of the World will premiere on Hulu in the US in August; a UK date is currently unknown. The Crown seasons 1-5 are streaming on Netflix. Seasons 1-4 are also available on DVD and Blu-ray.
