While Netflix has come under fire for taking liberties with the truth in the most recent season of The Crown, the show’s wardrobe and beauty department has been lauded for adeptly recreating some of the most iconic outfits worn by the Royal Family.
Viewers have been particularly enamoured by the costumes donned by Emma Corrin, who plays Princess Diana in the fourth season of the royal drama.
But in a playful Instagram post, the actress has suggested one of the wigs she wore while portraying the Princess would be equally at home on the lead actor in a George Michael biopic.
Ms Corrin has posted a series of backstage pictures and videos from the set of the Netflix show.
Among the posts she shared is a shot from a wedding dress costume fitting.
In another, the actress is seen roller-skating in costume.
In one video, Ms Corrin can be seen knitting while waiting in her dressing room between scenes.
She also shared a number of amusing clips of her onscreen husband, played by Josh O’Connor.
In one video he is seen debating the lyrics to Destiny's Child's Bootylicious with a crew member.
