Cruise lines offer up Black Friday, Cyber Monday deals

With a coronavirus vaccine in sight, cruise lines are ready to rebound from their sailing hiatus offering some decent deals for Black Friday and Cyber Monday in 2020.

Here’s a rundown:

Carnival: Through Nov. 29: Up to 30% off cruises for sailings through April 2023, reduced deposits from $50 per person and free room upgrades. Details at carnival.com/cruise-search?cruisedeals=earlysaversale

Holland America Line: Available from Nov. 25-Dec. 1: Premium Wi-Fi on winter 2021-summer 2022 sailings. Also available, the “Save Now, Cruise Later” promotion in which gift cards of $500 get an extra $50, while an additional $100 is given for $1,000 in gift cards purchased. Cruise.com: 9 a.m. EST Dec. 27-Dec. 1: The discount cruise booking site has its own lineup of deals with rates up to $1,600 in savings across all cruise lines including free onboard spending, free gratuities, free drinks, free wi-fi, reduced deposits and other enticements. Of note:

Celebrity Cruises: The cruise line rolled out a new deal across all bookings called Always Included, meaning that Wi-Fi, drinks package and gratuities are part of the normal fare, so no specific Black Friday deal coming for 2020. Details at celebritycruises.com.
