He said Crumbl Cookies has more than 200 different cookies all made from scratch and each week the store will change the menu.

"I don't know another company in the country that does that. It's operationally insane but they are amazing. We put a lot of effort into it so we're excited," Ball said.

Ball said cookies include semi-sweet, chocolate chunk cookie, strawberry crum cake, berries and cream, a chocolate cake cookie, Cinnamon Crunch in partnership with Kellogg's, and even an M&M cookie with peanutbutter in the middle, to name a few.

Ball is originally from California and his wife Alex is from Arizona and is a physical therapist. They met in Utah. He was at Brigham Young University, and she, at University of Utah.

They moved to Ohio to share their love of the cookies with everyone. The couple have a son who is almost 2 years old and a second child, also a boy, is due in less than two weeks.

"Tommy says 'cookie' and that's fun," he said. "Last year he dressed up as Cookie Monster and my wife as a cookie and I was a baker.

"She (his wife) comes from five girls in her family and I have five sisters. We come from big families," he said.

"Before my wife and I ever owned Crumbl, when I was up in Utah, we would buy cookies every week," he said. "That was part of our love story and we decided we wanted to share them with everyone else in Ohio."

Crumbl Cookie chose new site in Ontario for several reasons:

Ball said he chose to locate a store in Ontario because Mansfield and Ontario connects Cleveland and Columbus.

"That was a big factor," he said. "Also we love that the closest Crumbl is like an hour and 15 minutes away and we get to share what we love with everybody else," Ball said.

Generally Crumbl stores hire 50 to 70 people, he said.

The store is open to the public six days a week, (closed Sundays), 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, and Fridays and Saturdays 8 a.m. until midnight.

"The cool thing about Crumbl is I think Crumbl is God's gift to men, really everyone. You swing by for a gift, a birthday party, Halloween, anything, and there's cookies that are made, ready, warm and ready to go in your box," he said. "And they're perfect, gourmet cookies."
