'We Will Cry With You': Widow Of Deputy Micah Flick Shares Open Letter To Officer Eric Talley's Widow

"I am sorry because the rest of us all pray that no one else ever joins our line of duty widow 'club.'"

- A woman who knows the sorrow of losing a husband in the line of duty pens an emotional letter to Officer Talley's wife. Rachel Flick understands the suffering. In 2018 she lost her husband, El Paso County Deputy Micah Flick, when a suspected car thief shot him and killed him in Colorado Springs.

Her letter to Mrs. Talley, emotional. It offers the support of what she calls the line of duty widow club. Rachel says, in part, we're just a few steps away. Our lamps of hope will light the way. You and your children are not alone.
