CSU graduation is here again. Here's what to know about ceremonies this spring

Colorado State University's next president should be Colorado-focused, inclusive and more

Gone are the days of outdoor ceremonies around the Oval and masked graduation photos at Colorado State University. For the Class of 2022, celebrations are returning to pre-pandemic protocols, and there's excitement in the air.

CSU is hosting a dozen commencement ceremonies May 13-15 on campus, most of which can also be attended virtually. Livestream links are posted on CSU’s graduation information page at https://commencement.colostate.edu/ and can be accessed from the individual links included later in this story.

All ceremonies are expected to last about two hours, according to the university, and doors will open one hour before each start time.

Though masks will not be required at ceremonies this year, there are still some requirements to be aware of during the festivities.

If you’re attending in person at Moby Arena, metal detectors will be used and guests must follow the clear bag policy, which allows for one clear bag no larger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches, a clear gallon bag or a small purse no larger than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches. There are no bag restrictions for ceremonies in the Lory Student Center.

Digital, general admission tickets are required for graduation ceremonies in the following colleges: Business, Health and Human Sciences, Liberal Arts, Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Students received links to access their tickets in April.

The Coloradoan has compiled information on each ceremony as well as parking guides to help graduation weekend run smoothly. Happy celebrating!
