CSU Pueblo honors Hispanic culture

CSU Pueblo is celebrating Hispanic culture and diversity here on campus. There are keynote speakers, demonstrations, and performances going on, including a ballet folkloric performance tonight. This is the 51st year that CSU Pueblo is honoring Chicano studies on campus to be designated as a Hispanic-serving institution, a college must have at least 25 percent full-time students that are Hispanic. At CSU Pueblo, 34 percent of students have a Hispanic background. This month is all about showing that pride and celebrating the Hispanic culture but also educating other students who don't have a similar background.
