CT Coronavirus Updates: 50,320 Total Cases, 4,441 Deaths Reported
CONNECTICUT — For the past couple of months Connecticut has been doing a great job of containing the coronavirus. Routinely the state's positive infection rate is 1 percent or less, which is among the best in the country.
The state has also significantly stepped up its testing and contact tracing efforts and the number of hospitalizations has been holding well below 100.
Currently, Connecticut has had 50,320 coronavirus cases, 4,441 deaths and 65 hospitalizations. Over the past 24 hours cases rose by 75 and deaths increased by four, while hospitalizations declined by one. A total of 862,658 tests have been administered.

Fairfield County: 17,301 coronavirus cases; 655 probable cases; 1,096 confirmed deaths; 312 probable deaths; 12 hospitalizations.
Hartford County: 12,119 coronavirus cases; 642 probable cases; 1,094 confirmed deaths; 321 probable deaths; 18 hospitalizations.
Litchfield County: 1,547 coronavirus cases; 63 probable cases; 117 confirmed deaths; 21 probable deaths; 1 hospitalization.
Middlesex County: 1,335 coronavirus cases; 61 probable cases; 154 confirmed deaths; 38 probable deaths; 6 hospitalizations.
New Haven County: 12,733 coronavirus cases; 412 probable cases; 954 confirmed deaths; 150 probable deaths; 22 hospitalizations.
New London County: 1,371 coronavirus cases; 62 probable cases; 77 confirmed deaths; 26 probable deaths; 6 hospitalizations.
Tolland County: 995 coronavirus cases; 61 probable cases; 52 confirmed deaths; 14 probable deaths; 0 hospitalizations.
Windham County: 717 coronavirus cases; 9 probable cases; 14 confirmed deaths; 1 probable death; 0 hospitalizations.

Which age range has the most confirmed coronavirus cases in CT?
People between the ages of 50-59 have the most cases with 8,380; followed by 30-39 with 7,239; followed by 40-49 and 80 and older both with 7,056; followed by 60-69 with 6,826; followed by 20-29 with 6,499; followed by 70-79 with 4,531; followed by 10-19 with 1,880; and 0-9 with 795.
