CU Football beats Nebraska, CMU Football wins, and more!

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Colorado Football takes care of Nebraska 36-14 in their third straight win over the Cornhuskers in the Colorado-Nebraska rivalry.

CMU Football traveled to Southern California and upset the FCS San Diego Toreros 28-21 in overtime. The Mavericks’ first touchdown came from a CMU fumble picked up by offensive lineman Cooper Mumford who threw it to Keenan Brown for the score, and that TD was noticed by SportsCenter.

The North Fork Miners took care of business at home against the Grand Valley Cardinals 42-15 in Hotchkiss, Colo.

The Colorado Mesa Men’s Soccer Showcase capped off with a 4-1 win for Colorado Mesa over Eastern New Mexico.

Last but not least, CMU Volleyball swept Dallas Baptist in the final game of the Maverick Fall Classic to stay undefeated on the year at 8-0.
