Cubs giving away free tickets Thursday throughout Chicago

CHICAGO — The Cubs are giving away free tickets throughout Chicago on Thursday.

From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., fans are urged to follow the social media accounts for the club.

The Cubs are posting locations of a giant “C” logo where tickets will be given away. 2,024 tickets will be given away to celebrate the upcoming season.

The first location is in front of the Tribune Tower.

The North Siders open up Spring Training games Friday against the White Sox.
