Cudahy's Packard Plaza, a 125,000-square foot shopping center, has been sold for $3.5M

Packard Plaza in Cudahy has been sold.

The 10-acre, 125,250-square-foot shopping center at 5656 S. Packard Ave. sold for approximately $3.5 million, according to New York-based Legacy Realty Group Advisors, LLC which facilitated the off-market sale.

Cudahy City Administrator Casey Griffiths confirmed the property was sold to Rajender Dudani, (dba Packard Plaza Partners, LLC) out of Waban, Massachusetts.

However, Brookfield-based Charis Facility Advantage is still managing the property, according to Griffiths, who referenced the property owner registration filed with the city.

Cudahy’s inspection department has been in contact with the new owner and met with him on the property during the last full week of July.

“At this point there doesn’t appear to be anything coming forward for the property in terms of new tenants or any proposed changes to the design or buildings,” Griffiths said. “The new owner has not given us any indication that he plans to do any significant changes to the property at this time.”

Packard Plaza is home to various businesses including Family Dollar, Dollar Tree, The Salvation Army, Finch’s Vendor Expo, JOANN Fabric and Crafts and Castillo’s Restaurant, among others.

Legacy Realty Group Advisors, LLC is a commercial real estate firm based out of New York that specializes in off-market transactions across the United States, according to Legacy's website. Jacob Baruch, Ari Warshaw and Jonah Warshaw of Legacy Realty Group Advisors, LLC represented both the buyer and seller in the transaction.
