'Cuisine for Charity' returns after two-year hiatus

Sep. 21—An annual event benefitting Andover Hebron Marlborough Youth and Family Services has returned after a two- year pause due to the coronavirus.

The " Cuisine for Charity" dinner held at Gina Marie's Restaurant in Hebron will return on October 3.

Troy and Gina Kelsey, the owners of the restaurant, will prepare gourmet dinners, with all proceeds going directly to the service bureau.

" The Kelsey family and their staff have raised over $ 35,000 over the years, with 100% of the proceeds from this dinner supporting AHM programs for local children and families," said Joel Rosenberg, one of the members of AHM's Board of Directors.

The menu this year includes a sirloin filet wrapped in bacon, served over a scallop cake and wilted spinach with hollandaise sauce; grilled salmon served over risotto with butternut squash, gala apples and spinach in an apple cider glaze; lobster pot pie, including sweet corn, peas, carmelized onions, potatoes, carrots and celery in a lobster Newberg sauce; or panko-crusted eggplant and zucchini stuffed with ricotta, roasted plum tomatoes, spinach, basil pesto and mozzarella cheese in garlic sauce.

Each meal also includes non- alcoholic beverages, appetizers, a mixed green salad and a dessert of apple crisp and vanilla ice cream.

Each meal costs $ 55 per person. Diners can also purchase beer and wine with their meals separately at a cash bar. The Kelseys plan on donating 100% of the bar tab to AHM Youth and Family Services as well.

Space is limited and advance ordering online is recommended. Meals can be ordered at ahmyouth. org/ fundraisers- events- cuisine-for- charity.
