Fans of Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams have been able to get their fix with by-the-pint flavors at Whole Foods, AJ’s Fine Foods, Target and Bevmo. Now customers can experience the whimsical flavors Jeni's is known for at a its first scoop shop in Arizona. Located at the corner of E. Fifth Avenue and North Marshall Way, the parlor will have its grand opening on March 1.

Founder Jeni Britton Bauer opened the first Jeni's ice cream shop in 2002 in Columbus, Ohio. Jeni's sources milk from Smith’s, a century-old dairy in Ohio's Appalachian region, and churns out a variety of flavors, from Salty Caramel to Brambleberry Crisp, Wildberry Lavender and Salted Peanut Butter.

What's on the menu at Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams?

Jeni's menu features a few dairy-free ice creams and sorbets. The Lemon Bar is definitely a winner. The vegan lemon curd splashes tart waves through the coconut milk ice cream and nuggets of shortbread cookie peak through to add a crunch to each bite.

The texture of the ice cream and frozen yogurt are beautifully creamy and the flavors linger in the mouth. The luscious Salted Peanut Butter and Chocolate is a must-try, as is the velvety Rainbow frozen yogurt, which offers a zingy brightness from passion fruit and berries.
