CultureFest diversity celebration returns to Springfield this weekend

Downtown Springfield is set to host its annual CultureFest this weekend.

The festival will start on September 17 and expand beyond the city plaza, according to a press release.

“There are more merchandise and food vendors participating this year than any other CultureFest celebration in the past,” said Aaron Clark, Neighborhood Planning Coordinator, City of Springfield Community Development Department. “We’re pleased that the community has showed so much enthusiasm and we’re looking forward to a great crowd this Saturday.”
