A client of Wade told police they had an agreement with Wade to pay $400 a month for financial services but that Wade was taking more money than agreed upon. The client told police that Wade claimed the extra funds were for taxes, however, he later learned his business had not filed taxes while Wade was his accountant.

Several other complaints were filed to police regarding Wade that were consistent with the original client’s allegations, including failed bookkeeping services, late tax payments, and refusal to turn over QuickBooks account logins.
