Cumberland County man arrested for aggravated assault

EAST PENNSBORO TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) – A Cumberland County man was arrested by police and the county’s Special Response Team after a woman was hospitalized.

East Pennsboro Township Police say Vincente Lorenzo was arrested after a woman was treated at an area hospital following an assault.

Police say officers and the Cumberland County Special Response Team executed an arrest warrant on the 3500 block of Raintree Lane in Mechanicsburg on January 18 and took Lorenzo into custody.

According to court records, Lorenzo was charged with aggravated assault, aggravated indecent assault, strangulation, and false imprisonment, among other charges.

Do not answer calls from these area codes

Lorenzo remains in the Cumberland County Prison after bail was denied.
