Cumberland Piano Trio concert rescheduled

Oak Ridge Civic Music Association's Chamber Music Series concert featuring the Cumberland Piano Trio has been rescheduled for 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 12,at First United Methodist Church, 1350 Oak Ridge Turnpike.

The trio will present a pre-concert talk beginning at 7 p.m., which is free with ticket purchase.

"Our primary focus is keeping our audience and musicians safe during the pandemic," ORCMA Executive Director Lisa Muci Eckhoff stated in a news release. "We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding."

The concert had previously been scheduled for Feb. 5.

The Cumberland Piano Trio features pianist Emi Kagawa, violinist Karen Kartal, and cellist Dan Allcott. The program remains as previously announced with music by Ludwig van Beethoven, Clara Schumann, and Arthur Foote.

Tickets are available for purchase at orcma.org. Youths 18 and under attend all subscription concerts free of admission charge. Current ticket holders for the February concert date who are not able to attend the new March concert date may contact ORCMA's office for information on ticket exchanges, conversions to donations, or refunds.
