Curb Your Enthusiasm could be coming to an end.

Season 11 of the critically acclaimed sitcom finished its run in December 2021, and, shortly after that, HBO renewed the show for its 12th season. Now though? It seems as though this could be the long-running show's last hurrah.

Though the end of the series has yet to be officially confirmed by HBO, in a since-deleted tweet shared to his account on Tuesday (March 28), producer Jon Hayman posted a behind-the-scenes photo featuring creator and star Larry David and other crew members.

Alongside the snap, Hayman wrote that the group had just finished shooting the very last scene of the very last season. Intriguing.

"Maybe you love the show. Maybe you hate the show. Maybe you don’t give a s***," the caption read. "In any event, shooting the last scene of the last episode of the [sitcom’s] final season."

Actor Richard Lewis also tweeted about filming his last scene in a message still available on his Twitter page, though he was seemingly only referring to his final scene of season 12.

“There I was a few hours ago in my trailer on location to shoot my last scene of #Curb12," he wrote. "Hard to believe we started in 2000. The cast and crew all knew we were working for a genius. When that rarity happens, no one ever takes a moment for granted. We love you LD.”

Alongside David and Lewis, the beloved sitcom also stars the likes of Jeff Garlin, Susie Essman, JB Smoove, Cheryl Hines, Vince Vaughn, and Ted Danson.

When season 12 of the show was announced, David shared in a statement posted to Instagram that playing the heightened version of himself had been "the greatest honor of [his] life".

"In researching this multi-faceted, multi-talented man, I discovered that there's more to him than I ever could have imagined: He speaks six languages, brines his own pickles, and spearheads a national movement to install a bidet in every home," he wrote.

"I've also been told from numerous sources that he is the most generous of lovers. I am so excited to once again transform into this force of nature. I only pray that I can do him justice."

Curb Your Enthusiasm airs on HBO in the US, and on Sky and NOW in the UK.
