CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OH – There are 1,782 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus and 126 coronavirus-related deaths in Cuyahoga County as of Friday, according to the Cuyahoga County Board of Health.
There are 472 probable cases of coronavirus in the county, bring the total number of cases to 2,254. There are three probably coronavirus-related deaths in the county, bringing the total number of deaths to 129.
As of Friday, there are 1,997 people in isolation and 3,256 people in quarantine.
There have been confirmed cases in county residents from 1 week old to 101 years old. There have been confirmed coronavirus-related deaths in residents from 53 to 97 years old.
Statewide, there are nearly 27,000 cases of the new coronavirus and nearly 1,600 coronavirus-related deaths in Ohio as of Friday, according to the state health department.
Since the start of the outbreak, at least 1,581 Ohioans have died due to complications from COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus, according to state health department data.
To date, there have been a total of 26,954 cases of COVID-19 in the state, and 4,791 hospitalizations. As of Friday, there were 1,277 patients in intensive care.
