For the 13th year, the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department will offer its 2022 Toys for Tickets Program, allowing motorists stopped for minor traffic offenses to trade a traffic warning for a toy donation to a local charity.

“I am proud of Chief [Jack] Davis and the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department for their continued commitment to helping our youngest residents through this annual program,” stated Mayor Don Walters. “Toys for Tickets is an opportunity to remind motorists to drive with added caution during the holiday season and benefit our local charities.”

Through Dec. 9, Cuyahoga Falls Police Officers will issue toy waivers to replace verbal warnings received for minor traffic cases. The toy waiver encourages the minor traffic violator to donate a new, unwrapped toy to a local charity. Drivers may drop off the toy at the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department, 2310 Second St., on or before Dec. 10.
