Cuyahoga Falls schools offers meal program to students over the summer

The Cuyahoga Falls City School District recently announced the launch of its Summer Meals Program.

This initiative aims to provide nutritious meals to students during the summer months when school is not in session, ensuring that every child has access to healthy food.

The Summer Meals Program will run from June 6 through July 7, every Tuesday through Friday. The program will offer free breakfast and lunch to children aged 18 and under at three locations in the district.

Breakfast will be served for an hour beginning at 7:30 a.m. at Cuyahoga Falls High School, and at 8:30 a.m. at Preston Elementary and Roberts Middle Schools. Lunch also will be served for an hour beginning at 11:30 a.m. at Preston and Roberts, and at 12:30 p.m. at Cuyahoga Falls High School. Due to the holiday, meals will not be served on July 4. All meals will be served in the cafeteria at each location.

Parents and guardians can find detailed information about the Summer Meals Program, including locations, serving times, and menus, on the Cuyahoga Falls City School District website at www.cfalls.org or by contacting the district's food services department. The district encourages families to take advantage of this resource to ensure their children's nutritional needs are met throughout the summer vacation.
