CVS Health Offers Free COVID-19 Testing To Connecticut Residents

CVS Health, in partnership with federal, state and local governments, is now offering free rapid-result COVID-19 testing to eligible residents in Connecticut by appointment only.

Please note: If you have a medical emergency or need immediate assistance, dial 911.

Testing requires pre-registration online and is only available based on specified screening criteria. This drive-thru service is only available to high-risk patients who legally reside in the state of Connecticut.

Please visit CVS.com to find testing locations, dates and to schedule an appointment. Here's how it works:

  1. Answer a few questions to see if you qualify for COVID-19 testing.

  2. Select a test site and available time.

  3. A provider may call you prior to the test to get additional information for registration.

  4. Bring proof of identity and in-state residence, as well as your test confirmation email or text message. Make sure you have your mobile phone in case the provider needs to reach you.

  5. When you arrive at the testing site, stay in your car. A testing professional will check your paperwork and walk you through the test.

Results will be available on-site in as little as 30 minutes.
