Cyber charter school purchases Montage Mountain building for $17.8 million

Dec. 23—The state's largest cyber charter school officially owns an office building on Montage Mountain.

Commonwealth Charter Academy purchased two parcels from 53 Glenmaura LLC, of Brooklyn, for $17,788,831, according to a deed recorded Thursday.

The school plans to use a portion of the first floor and all of the second floor of the former Cigna building, 53 Glenmaura National Blvd. Teachers will deliver live, remote instruction to students from the building.
