Cyclist killed, motorcyclist clinging to life in separate Queens crashes

A woman riding a Citi Bike was killed and a motorcyclist was clinging to life after separate crashes in Queens Thursday, police said.

In the latest crash, the woman was peeling along 24th Ave. near 29th St. in Astoria around 5:10 p.m., cops said.

The driver of a cement truck slammed into her as the gargantuan vehicle turned right onto 29th St., police said.

The woman was dragged by the truck and medics pronounced her dead at the scene.

The driver stayed there and did not immediately face charges.

Earlier, around 2:25 p.m. a man riding a motorcycle on 183rd St. near Liberty Ave. in Jamaica slammed into an MTA police vehicle making a U-turn, police said.

He was taken to Jamaica Hospital in critical condition.

The MTA vehicle also remained on the scene, cops said.
