Cyclone Idai Survivors Arrive at Beira Evacuation Centre by Rescue Boat

Survivors of Mozambique’s Cyclone Idai arrived in the port city of Beira, after being evacuated from impacted areas by boat on March 21.

Red Cross workers from Mozambique and European countries assisted those displaced by the March 14 disaster. About 400,000 people were made homeless in central Mozambique.
