As tens of thousands of country music fans pour into Music City this weekend, you may be thinking — I need to get outta here! Well, dear locals, you're in luck: My colleague Melonee Hurt has put together a list of (semi) nearby amusement parks where you and your family can have fun (and be crammed in with thousands of people OUT of town😀.)

Sure, sure, there's Dollywood in East Tennessee about three hours and 20 minutes from here.

But Melonee goes beyond the obvious and even writes about a place in Bowling Green, Kentucky, called Beech Bend Park and Splash Lagoon. We all like our lagoons splashy, no?
