Whitefish Bay and Cedarburg will soon be getting a “daily dose” of cold-pressed juice, smoothies, smoothie bowls, coffee and toast. The Daily Dose, a Slinger-based juice bar, is opening two new locations in the north Milwaukee suburbs this fall.

Where are the new locations of The Daily Dose?

Whitefish Bay: 619 E. Silver Spring Drive (next to Winkie’s)

Cedarburg: 6093 Portland Road (across from Cedar Creek Park)

When will the new stores open?

The Whitefish Bay location is scheduled to open in September. The Cedarburg location plans to open in October.

What will be the hours?

Both stores will start out with the same operating hours as the Slinger location: 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. (Closed on Sunday and Monday.)

The plan has always been to franchise The Daily Dose

When Jenni Dobson opened the first Daily Dose, she had hopes of opening more locations across Wisconsin.

However, she didn’t think she’d have two new locations set to open just two and a half years later. The mother of four knew she had too much on her plate to expand on her own, so after consulting with other business owners, Dobson decided to franchise The Daily Dose.

“I would say about a year ago, I just put my feelers out there on social media, of course, and said, ‘Hey, we're looking to franchise, is anybody interested in owning their own Daily Dose juice bar?’ and I bet you I had 40 people within the first week, reach out,” Dobson said.

How will the new locations of The Daily Dose compare with the Slinger store?

The two new locations will offer a similar menu to the Slinger location with The Daily Dose's standard eight smoothies, three smoothie bowls and three toasts. Depending on the season, each location may offer specialty holiday items.

However, the new locations will differ slightly from the original store. The Whitefish Bay location is nearly twice the size of the Slinger location, while the one in Cedarburg will be located in an old church.

“We're going to keep a lot of the church aspects of it, like the windows and then maybe some lighting," Dobson said of the Cedarburg location. "We don't want to take away that appeal, but it will still have a modern and fresh feeling like the other Daily Dose stores,” Dobson said.

The Daily Dose is still looking to open other franchises across Wisconsin.
