“The Daily Show” pointed out the irony of an Indianapolis woman’s attack on what she thought was a Jewish school.

Comedy Central’s late-night TV news satire show on Monday highlighted the Nov.  3 incident in which the woman rammed her car into the Israelite School of Universal and Practical Knowledge, in the 3500 block of North Keystone Avenue.

Driver Ruba Almaghtheh, 34, referred to the building as an "Israel school," according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

“Almaghtheh told one officer she has been watching the news and couldn’t breathe anymore,” a news release from the police department said. “She referenced her people back in Palestine.”

Indianapolis attack: Several young kids escape injury after woman targets what she thought was an 'Israel school'

War broke out in October in the Middle East after Hamas launched a surprise attack, killing more than 1,200 Israelis and taking an estimated 240 people hostage.

The building Almaghtheh hit though is associated with Radical Hebrew Israelites, a group the Southern Poverty Law Center has designated a "hate group," noting its ideology has become increasingly antisemitic, anti-white, anti-LGBTQ, xenophobic and misogynistic since the 1960s.

Several young children were in the building, but none were physically injured.

“The Daily Show" guest host Sarah Silverman on Monday’s broadcast drove home the irony of the woman targeting the building in an effort to harm Jewish people when it’s operated by a group that is designated as antisemitic.

“Awww. She meant to crash into a building full of Jews; but ended up crashing into a building full of people who hate Jews,” Silverman said. “What a meet-cute.”
