Dairy Queen announces 85-cent Blizzards during April

Count your coins because Dairy Queen announced an upcoming promotion of 85-cent Blizzards in honor of the iconic treat's debut in 1985.

The special runs from April 10-23, and it's available exclusively on the Dairy Queen mobile app and at participating locations.

Along with the 85-cent deal, Dairy Queen revealed they're bringing back the s'mores, choco-dipped strawberry and cotton candy Blizzard flavors. The chain will also debut new flavors Oreo brookie (brownie and cookie) and peanut butter puppy chow.

The promotion comes on the heels of Free Cone Day on March 20 to celebrate the first day of spring, or as Dairy Queen calls it, "treat szn."
