Dairy Queen’s Frosted Animal Cookie Blizzard Is Back For A Dose Of Nostalgia
Dairy Queen has released some incredible treats over the years, but the Frosted Animal Cookie Blizzard was one that really garnered a positive reaction. It was first released in 2020 as part of the summer menu, and it’s back this spring as the Blizzard of the Month for April 2021. Yes, this is what true happiness feels like.
If you didn’t try this Blizzard last year, we’ll try to not make you feel too bad about how much you missed out — especially since you can make up for it now. It’s made up of DQ’s soft-serve that’s blended with real frosted animal sugar cookies that are covered in sprinkles and pink confetti frosting. When it all comes together, it creates a pink frozen treat that is worthy of ordering in a large.
“By spinning together a little bit of whimsy, a whole lot of fun, and a generous dollop of nostalgia, DQ created a Blizzard Treat that captures those same feelings you had as a kid playing with your favorite animal cookies,” the description says.
You can find the Frosted Animal Cookie Blizzard at participating Dairy Queen locations during the month of April. It’s available in mini, small, medium, and large sizes. This is one treat we really wish wasn’t around for just a limited time.
