The comment section was filled with messages of support, with actor and family friend Linda Thompson writing: "Your mother loved you, your brother and your sisters fiercely and devotedly… death does not rob us of that love, nor our memories.

"I have the best recollections of your beautiful mother from the time she was 4 1/2. She was extraordinarily special, but you already know that. I loved her then, now, and always. My thoughts & my heart are with you…💜🙏🏻".

Keough played the titular character in Daisy Jones & the Six, which documented the rise and fall of her band in 1970s Los Angeles. The Prime Video series also starred Sam Claflin, Camila Morrone and Suki Waterhouse, with their performances receiving acclaim.

It's currently unknown if the show will return for a second season, but showrunners Scott Neustadter and Will Graham recently teased that a follow-up could be on the cards, with Neustadter saying: "I think that would be amazing.

"If people are interested in this story and these people, maybe we'll get an opportunity to do that. Leave the door open. Why not? If people enjoy what you're doing and want more of it, that's not a bad problem."
