Gwyneth Paltrow and Dakota Johnson Don't Let Chris Martin Get in the Way of Their Dinner Plans
Chris Martin's past and present love, ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow and current girlfriend Dakota Johnson, have been reported to have a good relationship in the past. But their mutual friend Derek Blasberg gave the world a clear look at what the two are like together on his Instagram today. Blasberg celebrated his birthday last night with a dinner in Los Angeles. Katy Perry (and her new longer blonde hair) were there, but the real stars were Johnson and Paltrow, sitting alongside him at the table. They're smiling, Paltrow puts her arm around Johnson in one shot, and all is well! Paltrow's new husband Brad Falchuk was also there, hanging with them.

Earlier this month, E! reported that Martin and Johnson were apparently so serious, a proposal could happen in the future. "An engagement could definitely be in the cards," a source told E! in its report. "They are very much in love and happy."
That source made it clear: Paltrow and Johnson really like each other. "Their families hang out often, and they are all very comfortable with each other. Dakota has a great relationship with his kids and with [Gwyneth Paltrow, Martin's ex-wife]," the source said. "Chris loves her parents [Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson] and has them over for beach time and parties. Everyone gets along very well."
Paltrow arrived at Blasberg's dinner straight from the Avengers: Endgame premiere, by the way, where she wore a G. Label dress on the red carpet. That's the only reason, Blasberg teased on his Instagram Story, that she was so dressed up for his party.
