Dakota Wesleyan swept by Concordia in GPAC volleyball tournament

Apr. 3—SEWARD, Neb. — Playing in its first-ever Great Plains Athletic Conference match, the Dakota Wesleyan University volleyball team was swept by No. 10 Concordia University on Saturday. The set scores were 25-19, 28-26 and 25-15.

The Tigers fall to 12-9 on the season and will learn their NAIA national tournament fate on April 12. The Tigers were receiving votes in the latest NAIA volleyball poll.

On Saturday, Mariah Gloe and McKenzie Buisker both recorded nine kills apiece. Gloe added eight digs and four blocks. Taylee Indahl added eight kills and three blocks. Madeline Else posted 23 digs and Hanna Reiff added 16 digs. Else logged 28 assists.
