Dallas Cowboys fan goes into labor during Sunday’s game against the Patriots

One Dallas Cowboys fan got a special surprise during the team’s 38-3 victory over the New England Patriots.

Haley and Tyler Waterman went to the game supporting opposite teams, Haley is a Cowboys fan and Tyler is a Patriots fan.

However, the couple left the game preparing to be proud parents after Haley’s water broke after the Cowboys’ first offensive touchdown of the game.

Haley said that her section cheered when they realized she was going into labor and that the paramedics who escorted her out joked she was a good change of pace.

“They said they always just have drunk people that they needed to take care of. So I’m glad I was the first for them,” she said.

Tyler joked that he was happy to leave the game early after seeing the final score.

“I pulled out my phone and looked at the score and said I’m glad we ended up having to leave because it would have been hard to stay there and witness what happened on Sunday,” Tyler said.

The couple gave birth to Delaney Waterman who was three weeks premature but healthy. The Watermans said they’ll let Delaney decide whether to be a Cowboys or Patriots fan.

“She’s got onesies in both, so it’s her decision,” Tyler said.
