Top Bet: Warriors 109, Mavericks 104

It writes: "The Warriors upended the Memphis Grizzlies in the second round in six games. They also have yet to drop a game at home in the playoffs. In beating the Grizzlies, Golden State turned to its defense to take down the young and hungry crew of Ja Morant. The Grizzlies shot just 41.8 percent from the field while posting a 107.8 defensive rating – third-best among all teams in the second round. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson are no longer spring chickens but they are still very deadly on offense. Curry is leading the Warriors in the playoffs with 26.9 points per game, while Thompson is putting up 20.4 percent. There’s also a youth movement in Golden State, led by Jordan Poole, who’s been an exceptional source of offense for the Warriors’ bench, as he is coming up with 19.3 points on 50 percent shooting in the playoffs. Golden State is the more consistent team on offense between it and the Mavs, who’ve been susceptible to being too dependent on Doncic."

SGPN: Warriors, Mavericks have fared well against the spread

It writes: "Golden State has covered the spread 48 times in 97 games with a set spread. In games this season when favored by 5.5 points or more, the Warriors have gone 28-22-2 against the spread. Golden State games have finished with a final combined score above the over/under 42 times out of 97 chances this season. The Warriors make 46.9% of their shots from the field this season, which is 1.2 percentage points higher than the Mavericks have allowed to their opponents (45.7%). In games Golden State shoots higher than 45.7% from the field, it is 32-12-2 against the spread and 39-7 overall. Dallas has covered the spread 56 times over 97 games with a set spread. In games this year when an underdog by 5.5 points or more, the Mavericks are 11-5 against the spread."

Odds Checker: Take the under in Game 1 of Warriors vs. Mavericks series

Jason Radowitz writes: "The Warriors turned the ball over 15.2% of the time during the regular season, which was one of the worst rates in the NBA this season. However, even with the high amount of turnovers, the Warriors continued to get really high-quality looks from the field. The Mavericks are also very good at keeping teams off the glass and knowing that the Warriors and Mavericks want to shoot from deep, there likely will be fewer fouls in this series. The Warriors and Mavericks had some massive offensive outputs in their last series. But this series should be tighter throughout. In Game 1, I'm liking the under 214.5."
