Rewind: Phoenix Suns' season ends with blowout Game 7 loss to Dallas Mavericks
The Phoenix Suns hosted the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday in Game 7 of their Western Conference NBA Playoffs semifinals series. It did not go well as they lost, 123-90 and were eliminated from the playoffs. Look back at our updates from the game.

Suns' season ends with blowout loss to Mavericks in Game 7
The Phoenix Suns lost to the Dallas Mavericks 123-90 on Sunday night in Game 7 of their NBA Playoffs series, ending the Suns' season in the Western Conference semifinals.
Luka Doncic led the Mavericks with 35 points in the game, going 12-for-19 from the field. Spencer Dinwiddie added 30 points and Jalen Brunson had 24.
Cameron Johnson had 12 points to lead Phoenix. Chris Paul only had 10 and Devin Booker only had 11. Deandre Ayton only had five points.
The Suns shot 33-for-87 from the field in the game.
The Mavericks were 46-for-81. They also hit 19-of-39 3-point attempts.
Dallas will next face the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference finals, while the Suns will begin their offseason with a lot of questions after faltering late in the series against the Mavericks after holding a 2-2 and 3-2 lead in the series.

Suns trail Mavericks by 42 points after 3 quarters
The Suns trailed the Mavericks by 42 points after three quarters in Game 7 on Sunday night, 92-50.
That is not a typo.
The Mavericks outscored Phoenix 35-23 in the quarter after outscoring them 30-10 in the second quarter and 27-17 in the first.
Suns fans headed to the exits at the end of the quarter and who could blame them?

Suns' deficit vs. Mavericks grows in third quarter
The Dallas Mavericks are adding to their lead with a barrage of 3-pointers against the Suns in the third quarter.
The Mavericks have hit 15-of-30 3-point attempts on the night and are 30-for-57 from the field. They have led by 40 or more points on a couple of occasions.
Dallas has outscored Phoenix 28-20 so far in the third quarter.
Luka Doncic now has 33 points on 11-for-17 shooting from the field and 6-of-10 shooting from 3-point range for the Mavericks.

The second half has not started any better for the Suns.

Charles Barkley's thoughts on first half of Suns vs. Mavericks Game 7
"I'm in shock," Charles Barkley said on the TNT halftime show. "I never would have saw this coming. This is just embarrassing man ... In my wildest dreams, I never thought this would happen."
Barkley said that the Suns would have to try to get the lead down to around 12-to-14 points at the end of the third quarter to have a chance to even think about coming back in the game.
That's hard to imagine right now after the first half that Phoenix just produced.
Mavericks dominate Suns in first half of Game 7
The Phoenix Suns trail the Dallas Mavericks in Game 7 of their Western Conference semifinal, 57-27.
Yes, 57-27.
It was an absolutely horrendous first half for Phoenix, which is 24 minutes away from elimination after being the NBA's best team in the regular season.
The Suns were just 10-for-41 from the field in the first half.
The Mavericks were 19-for-40.
Luka Doncic had 27 points in the first half for the Mavericks, tying the Suns' scoring output in the first 24 minutes. He went 9-for-12 from the field and 4-for-7 from 3-point range.
Spencer Dinwiddie had 21 points off the bench in 16 minutes. He went 7-for-10 from the field.
Devin Booker had just two points on 0-for-7 shooting for Phoenix in the first half. Chris Paul had one point on 0-for-4 shooting. Deandre Ayton had three points on 1-for-4 shooting.

Deandre Ayton is having an abysmal first half against the Mavericks. He had just three points on 1-for-4 shooting in 14 minutes and now he'll likely watch the rest of the half on the bench after picking up his third foul.
Dallas is on a 16-3 run in the last six minutes and has outscored Phoenix 19-8 in the second quarter.
Luka Doncic has 19 points for the Mavericks. Spencer Dinwiddie has 18 off the bench.
The Suns are being led in scoring by Cameron Johnson and Jae Crowder who each have five points.
Phoenix's starters have 13 points in the game.
Deandre Ayton, Chris Paul and Devin Booker have six points combined.

Yes, they have just 23 points more than halfway through the second quarter.
Phoenix is just 8-for-33 from the field.
The Suns could be headed for the offseason a lot earlier than many expected if something doesn't change fast.

Spencer Dinwiddie delivering for Dallas Mavericks in Game 7
Spencer Dinwiddie has provided the Mavericks with a huge spark in Game 7 off the bench.
Dinwiddie has 13 points in seven minutes for Dallas, as the Mavericks have built a 34-22 lead in the second quarter.
Luka Doncic has been on the bench in the second quarter, getting rest, as the Mavericks have extended their lead.
Dinwiddie is 4-for-5 from the field and 3-for-4 from 3-point range.
Meanwhile, the Suns have gotten a combined three points from Devin Booker, Chris Paul and Deandre Ayton.
That's not a recipe for a Game 7 victory for Phoenix.
