Damaging winds knock a big tree onto an occupied car

BAY VILLAGE, Ohio (WJW) — A fast-moving and hard-charging cold front produced gusty winds that knocked down trees and created scattered power outages in Northeast Ohio on Wednesday.

SkyFOX flew over a large tree that crashed down on Lake Road in Bay Village. Branches from the tree struck a car driving by at the time.

Police said the driver was not hurt and the car was not severely damaged.

Crews worked to remove the tree from the road.
