Damar Hamlin releases messages on social media, shares thanks for support

Damar Hamlin released messages on social media for the first time since he was taken to the hospital in critical condition after collapsing on the field while playing the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday.
Hamlin took to Twitter to thank everyone who has shown him support.
Putting love into the world comes back 3xs as much… thankful for everyone who has reached out and prayed. This will make me stronger on the road to recovery, keep praying for me! 🫶🏾3️⃣

The athlete also shared thanks on Instagram, saying:
The love for Hamlin and well wishes continued to flow in the comments section of the Instagram post.
“God is the greatest. Let’s go 3,” said former Pittsburgh Steeler James Conner.
Hamlin began to wake up on Thursday morning and was able to breathe on his own and spread on Friday.

Hamlin graduated from Central Catholic and played for the Pitt Panthers at the University of Pittsburgh.
