Damien Harris talks about his journey from high school football to the NFL
Former Alabama running back Damien Harris is getting prepared to enter his third NFL season after being draft in the third round of the 2019 NFL draft by the New England Patriots.
Harris had a slow start to his professional career, but quickly rose up the depth chart and now sits as a big contributor to the Patriots’ offense.
In 2020, Harris recorded 137 carries for 691 yards and two touchdowns.
In a video posted to Twitter, the New England Patriots profiled Harris as a rising star and had him tell viewers about his journey from high school ball in Kentucky, to a brief stop in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, then all then way to Massachusetts where he now calls New England home.
