De SMET — A 30-point, 12-rebound performance by Damon Wilkinson carried third-rated Class B De Smet to a 59-40 Lake Central Conference boys basketball win over Clark-Willow Lake on Monday night.

George Jensen contributed 12 points and seven rebounds for the Bulldogs, who improved to 4-1 overall and 1-1 in the LCC.

Brady Jordan scored 13, Kaplan Felberg eight and Tyson Huber seven for the Cyclones (5-2, 0-2).

Waubay-Summit 74, Webster Area 41: The Mustangs improved to 6-0 with the win, getting 26 points, nine rebounds and five steals from Damon Opdahl; 22 points and eight rebounds from Jonathan Johnston; and 13 points and four assists from Jackson Wohlleber.

Milbank 67, Britton-Hecla 33: Jaxson Wildung tallied 16 points, Garrett Mertens 14, Joe Schulte 12 and Aiden Ludvigson eight to lead the Bulldogs (2-2, 2-1) to the Northeast Conference win. Gage Storley scored eight points and BoDell Davidson and Ty Fagerland eight each for the Braves (0-5, 0-3).

Iroquois-Lake Preston 67, Arlington 50: The Sharks improved to 5-1 overall and 4-0 in the Dakota Valley Conference behind Logan Peskey's 18 points and six rebounds. Riley Casper contributed 14 points and Tobias Arbeiter 11 points and four steals. Tommy Bacon finished with 15 points for Arlington (1-5, 1-4).

Dell Rapids St. Mary 60, Elkton-Lake Benton 38: Nic Gaspar collected 21 points, Maverick LeBrun 13 and Trevon Beckman 11 for the Cardinals, who improved to 4-1 overall and 3-1 in the Dakota Valley Conference. Ryan Krog (16 points and seven rebounds) and Carson Griffith (10 points and nine rebounds) paced the Elks, now 1-4 and 0-2.

Aberdeen Roncalli 62, Sully Buttes 59: Roncalli rallied late for the win with 16 points from Maddox Miller, 12 from Darwin Gambler and 11 from Jayden Munroe. Wesley Witter tallied 23 points, Landon Hepker 20 and Thomas Farries 14 for Sully Buttes.

Groton 73, Sisseton 20: Groton rolled to the Northeast Conference win with 22 points and seven steals from Lane Tietz and 18 points, six rebounds and four assists from Jacob Zak. Mason Herzog scored seven points for Sisseton.

Other Scores: South Border (N.D.) 71, Herreid-Selby Area 66; Lakeview (Minn.) 62, Lac qui Parle Valley (Minn.) 47. No other details were reported.

Girls Basketball

Florence-Henry 71, Waubay-Summit 24: Caylin Kelly garnered 18 points, six rebounds and seven steals to lead the Falcons (6-0, 2-0) to the Eastern Coteau Conference victory. Taylor Watson contributed 12 points, Trinity Watson eight and Reese Schmidt and Aubrie Hartley seven each. Hartley also snared six rebounds and Trinity Watson dished out six assists. Kailee Berger's 10 points led the Mustangs (3-3, 2-1).

Arlington 70, Iroquois-Lake Preston 56: Addie Steffensen scored 25 points and Jo Steffensen 15 to lead the Cardinals (5-2, 4-0) to the Dakota Valley Conference win. Adison Moore produced 24 points and Becca Bich 10 the Sharks (3-4, 0-4). Hadlee Holt chipped in with 12 rebounds and Ava Malone four steals and four assists.

Canby 49, Renville County West 39 (Minn.): The Lancers (5-5) prevailed with 17 points from Brynn Kockelman, 12 points and seven rebounds from Kortney Leppke, 10 points and four assists from Braelyn Merritt, five rebounds and seven steals from AshleeAnn Frazeur and five rebounds and four assists from Paige Nelson.

Sully Buttes 49, Aberdeen Roncalli 41: Stevie Wittler poured in 24 points and Lydia Hill 14 to lead fourth-rated Class B Sully Buttes. Claire Crawford scored 13 points for Roncalli.

Northwestern 50, Britton-Hecla 29: Ella Boekelheide and Tara Blachford each produced 13 points for Northwestern, which also received 16 rebounds from Ella Haven and nine points and eight rebounds from Adrianna Ratigan. Sterling Brassfield's 11 points and Alyssa James' 10 rebounds paced Britton-Hecla.

Other Scores: De Smet 45, Clark-Willow Lake 28; Minneota (Minn.) 50, Dawson-Boyd (Minn.) 24. No other details were reported.
