PHILADELPHIA — Daniel Jones' 80-yard run on Thursday night gave him more career rushing yards than Eli Manning.

Jones’s third quarter scamper is the longest run in Giants quarterback history.

It gave Jones 575 career rushing yards in his 20th NFL game and second season with the third quarter scamper. Manning had 567 career rushing yards in 236 regular season games and 16 NFL seasons.

Unfortunately for Jones, he tackled himself when he was gone for a sure touchdown, tumbling to the turf and into the NFL meme hall of fame. The Giants did finish the drive with a Wayne Gallman TD run.

Manning’s career high for a single season actually was 80 yards in 2005.

Thursday marked the fifth time in seven games this season that Jones has been the Giants' leading rusher or tied for the lead in a game.
