Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden lights up Christmas season
Few light displays combine seasonal whimsey with nature like Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden's annual Holidays at the Garden event, which continues through Dec. 31.
Visitors can walk the the garden's 110 acres of lighted topiary displays, twinkling cherry trees, along with food trucks and model trains, drinks and hot chocolate.

Where: Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden, 6500 S. New Hope Road, Belmont
When: Through Saturday, Dec. 31, the garden will be open from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays. Attendees are encouraged to purchase a limited number of advance tickets online. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Cost: Adult tickets are $20; seniors (60-plus) are $18; children (ages 2-12) are $10; and children under 2 are admitted free. Members receive a 25% discount.
