The neighborhood of Make-Believe becomes a reality this month, when characters from the popular kids' series "Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood" come to the University of Missouri Concert Series.

"Neighbor Day" promises an evening of good songs and good feelings from characters who like you just the way you are. Thinking of taking your family? Here's what you need to know.

What will the show be like?

"Neighbor Day" brings characters from the beloved PBS show into 3-D, as actors don costumes to portray Daniel, his family and wonderful circle of friends such as O the Owl, Miss Elaina, Katerina, Prince Wednesday and more. The show takes shape as a musical trek through Daniel's neighborhood, and its website promises both "new songs as well as fan-favorites."

When and where is it?

6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23 at Jesse Auditorium on the University of Missouri campus.

Is it suitable for all ages?

"There is something for everyone in the Land of Make Believe!" the production's website states, adding that the show is appropriate for kids of every age.

How long is the show?

Sixty minutes, with a 15-minute intermission, according to the FAQ portion of the production's website.

How much are tickets?

Tickets range from $32 to $45. A $75 VIP package includes seats near the front of the venue, and a post-show meet-and-greet, complete with the chance to take photos.

Where do we park?

While there is no direct parking at the venue, Turner Avenue, Conley Avenue and Hitt Street garages are nearby. These structures are free after 6 p.m.

When did "Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood" come to be?

Drawing on characters and themes from "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood," which featured puppets and human actors, "Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood" the animated series debuted on PBS Kids in 2012.

Created by Angela Santomero (whose credits include "Blue's Clues," "Super Why" and "Sesame Street"), the show has existed for five seasons and more than 110 episodes. A sixth season will begin this fall.

In 2019, the show won a Daytime Emmy for outstanding preschool children’s animated series.
