Sky has released the first-look image of Mr Bigstuff, starring EastEnders' Danny Dyer.

The six-part comedy features Dyer alongside Brassic and Plebs' Ryan Sampson, who also created the show.

Sampson stars as Glen, a carpet salesman trying to live the ideal, if mundane, suburban life. Then as if issues with his wife Kirsty (Harriet Webb) and her shoplifting habit, and his erectile dysfunction weren't enough, his brother comes crashing back into his life.

Dyer plays said brother, Lee, an alpha male who is addicted to prescription drugs, carries their dad's ashes around in a biscuit tin and is running away from his past.

These three people living together sounds like a recipe for disaster, and viewers will be able to see just how disastrous things get when the show airs in the spring.

For now, we've got the synopsis, the above image of Dyer and Sampson, and some further casting news.

The show will also star fellow former EastEnders actors Nitin Ganatra and Victoria Alcock, Gavin & Stacey's Adrian Scarborough, comedians Judi Love and Fatiha El Ghorri, His Dark Materials' Geoff Bell and Good Omens' Ned Dennehy.

Dyer's last EastEnders episode aired at the end of 2022, and last September he explained his decision to leave the BBC One soap.

"The first few years we f**king smashed it. It was powerful shit. The viewers listened to us more than these f**king c*** politicians," he said.

"I was blessed with some amazing storylines, some shite ones as well. They f**ked it up towards the end. It's a shame it had to come to an end but I'd f**king had enough."
