D'Ante Smith, Bengals offensive tackle, returns to practice after being carted off Friday
D'Ante Smith, entering his second season as an offensive tackle for the Cincinnati Bengals, returned to practice Sunday after he was carted off the field during position drills in the first few minutes of Friday's training camp practice.

Trainers appeared to examine Smith's leg Friday before he left in the cart.

A fourth-round draft pick of the Bengals in 2021 out of East Carolina, Smith, 24, played in two regular-season games and two playoff games during his rookie season for Cincinnati.
Tight end Drew Sample was carted off the field during Thursday's practice. He's expected to miss a few weeks with a knee injury.
