Multi-generational country, pop and rock acts, including The Black Crowes, Wynonna Judd, Ashley McBryde and Darius Rucker, have been added to the performance lineup at 2023's CMT Music Awards, airing live on Sun., Apr. 2 from Austin, Texas' Moody Center via CBS and available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+.

Also, Tyler Hubbard and Jelly Roll have been added to a list of performers, including Blake Shelton, Carly Pearce, Carrie Underwood, Cody Johnson, Kane Brown + Katelyn Brown, Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini and Lainey Wilson as performers. Avery Anna, Chapel Hart, Jackson Dean, Lily Rose, Megan Moroney and Nate Smith will also perform from the program's Ram Trucks Side Stage.

10-time country chart-topping Grand Ole Opry member Rucker pairs with The Black Crowes -- a band named once named by Melody Maker Magazine "The Most Rock 'n' Roll Rock 'n' Roll Band in the World" -- for a collaboration on the band's 1990 hit, "She Talks to Angels."

The performance will not be the only time the acts will pair in Austin -- they will also record an episode of "CMT Crossroads" in front of an outdoor crowd in downtown Austin slated to air later this summer.

As for Judd and McBryde, their debut television performance at the CMT Music Awards is a table-setter for them being featured together as part of The Judds: Love Is Alive - The Final Concert special event (recorded in November 2022 at Middle Tennessee State University's Murphy Center -- where The Judds' final concert as a duo was held in 1991) airing later this spring.

Jelly Roll's expected to perform his latest single on country radio, the gospel-tinged ballad "Need A Favor." As for Hubbard, his first-ever solo awards performance (a decade after debuting as an award-show performer alongside Brian Kelly with Florida Georgia Line) will feature "Dancin' In The Country," from his self-titled debut solo album.

Lainey Wilson leads the field at the CMT Music Awards with four nominations, including the highly coveted "Video of the Year," "Female Video of the Year," "Collaborative Video of the Year" and "CMT Performance of the Year" for Apr. 2's fan-voted event. Artists with three nominations this year include Cody Johnson, first-time nominee Jelly Roll and the program's co-host (for the third year, alongside Kelsea Ballerini) Kane Brown.
