Darius Rucker wants to play a free show on the University of South Carolina campus.

The popular singer/songwriter from Charleston, South Carolina, has just one condition: The Gamecocks women's basketball team must bring home an NCAA Tournament championship on Sunday.

After South Carolina defeated Louisville 72-59 on Friday in the Final Four to reach its first title game since 2017, Rucker was ecstatic on Twitter and made his offer of a free show at The Horseshoe, located at the heart of USC's campus in Columbia, South Carolina, if Dawn Staley and the Gamecocks can bring home the second national title in program history.

"Yeeeessssssss!!!!! Let’s go @GamecockWBB and @dawnstaley !!," wrote Rucker, who formed the band Hootie & the Blowfish while attending the University of South Carolina in the 1980s.

"We got POY and COY. One more win and unsay we have a party on the Horseshoe," Rucker continued. "Free show for the Natty. What say u Gamecocks?!?!?!?!"

The official South Carolina women's basketball team Twitter account retweeted Rucker's tweet, so the Gamecocks at least know the offer is out there. The singer/songwriter made good on a similar promise in 2017, when he played a free show at Colonial Life Arena in honor of the South Carolina football team winning six games during former head coach Will Muschamp's inaugural season.

With the victory over Louisville, the Gamecocks avenged a loss to Stanford in the 2021 Final Four and will play in their first NCAA Tournament championship game since 2017, when Staley and company won the program's first title.

The Gamecocks could get another shot at the Cardinal in 2022. They'll play the winner of No. 1-seeded Stanford vs. No. 2-seeded Connecticut in the national championship at 8 p.m. ET Sunday, April 3.
