Chapel Hart, just wrapping up a concert in Virginia, excitedly retweeted the post.

"Oh my God, Oh My God, OH MY GOD!!! Y’all, it’s finally here!!!!!!!!!" Chapel Hart tweeted.

The song has been kept under wraps for months, and had its beginnings a year ago from a message Rucker sent to Chapel Hart in September 2021.

"From a DM to your ears. Music is crazy sometimes!" Rucker said on Twitter.

Chapel Hart, featuring sisters Danica Hart and Devynn Hart and cousin Trea Swindle, quickly shot to the top of the iTunes country music charts after the group performed its original song, "You Can Have Him, Jolene," for their audition on "America's Got Talent."

The Chapel Hart song is a play on Dolly Parton's "Jolene," in which the singer begs the song's namesake not to take her man.

In Chapel Hart's version, the trio tells Jolene to keep him because "he don't mean that much to me."

Rucker already knew what the rest of the country was about to find out: Chapel Hart is pure country with a lot of soulful vibes mixed in.

"Ol' Church Hymn" is more laid back than the rollicking "Jolene" rebuttal, spotlighting Chapel Hart's vocal harmonies behind Rucker's distinctive baritone.
