Data says kids safest in school - CDC director

In the first White House Coronavirus Task Force press briefing in months, CDC Director Dr. Robert Redfield said recent data confirms that coronavirus transmission isn't happening in schools, but rather in households and in the community.

"Today there's extensive data...to confirm that K-12 schools can operate with face-to-face learning, and they can do it safely and they can do it responsibly," said the CDC Director.
